Shelli K. Trung is a seasoned investment banking, venture capital, and corporate innovation executive with more than 20 years of experience in capital raising, M&A, board leadership, corporate venture capital, and digital transformation across global markets. She has successfully executed more than 50 venture capital investments, contributed to 8 exits through M&A and IPO, and advised high-growth companies, investors, and government-backed innovation programs.
Her expertise spans investment banking, debt and equity financing, private equity, private credit, venture capital, family offices, corporate strategy, digital transformation, and international business expansion. In her current role with Global, Shelli provides deal origination, executive advisory, and capital-raising support to boutique investment banking, private equity, private credit, and family office clients. Her transaction experience includes multi-billion-dollar infrastructure and energy projects, AI and HPC data centers, medical technology, technology infrastructure, and digital asset financing.
Shelli has also held significant leadership and board positions across Australia, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. As Managing Partner of REACH Australia and Southeast Asia, she led the international expansion of a leading startup accelerator and venture capital fund, securing $30 million in direct investments and expanding its portfolio to 19 high-growth companies. She has served on multiple corporate boards and government grant assessment committees, providing strategic guidance in fundraising, governance, digital transformation, international expansion, and growth strategy.
With a strong track record in capital formation, investment management, corporate governance, strategic partnerships, and scaling high-growth businesses, Shelli brings a global perspective and proven leadership to complex investment and corporate initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Japanese from the University of Melbourne and has completed the NACD Directorship Certification, while currently undertaking the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
